Unique fantasy dreamscape  montage art  form. Using the method of montage, we have created a very unique fantasy artform, unlike any other two-dimensional work, that offers you a glimpse into another world. This highly original artwork is a composite of pictures forming lush dreamscapes laced with waterfalls, sacred pools, colorful foliage, mysterious passages, and beautiful fantasy imagery. Each piece evokes a sense of peace, beauty and spiritual unity, allowing the viewer to be drawn into a unique paradise. Montage (the technique of combining in a single photographic composition, elements from various sources, as parts of different photographs, by superimposition, juxtaposition, etc.).Montage (the technique of combining in a single photographic composition, elements from various sources, as parts of different photographs, by superimposition, juxtaposition, etc.). To these artists, montage is a term meaning "to make one out of many." They cut up many individual, seperate photos and blend them together in such a way as to make one final, single, complete photograph. The goal of these artists is such, that if you were to stand where they stood, you would be able to see the same view and "take the same photograph" that they were able to take of that particular dreamscape. We feature affordable contemporary art for the collector and discriminating fine art connoisseur. We feature giclée gallery wrap reproductions on canvas. A framer of your choice will be required to provide stretcher bars and stretch the canvas. No framing is necessary. At no time in the creating of these works of art are the images manipulated by any computer process. These works of art are all created by hand by the artists. Our goal is to make this beauty that we create available to everyone who desires the uplifting energy and improved fung shui of their environment and lives that beautiful surroundings provide.

Find wide range of  Christian Art , Photographs, Posters, Video and Painting from Michael Belk. By his own account, Michael Belk has lived a blessed life. As a worldly fashion photographer, he has been one of the best. His work has appeared in Vogue, Elle, GQ and Vanity Fair. And his clients have been a constellation unto themselves: Nautica,J.Crew, Polo and Christian Dior - to namedrop a few. But that's just a portion of what he has accomplished in his life time. Combining his gift for photography with a natural sales sense, he's created advertising campaigns for many well-known names in the clothing industry. For 30-plus years, he has been the man behind the camera, the creative director and the account executive - a one-stop shop for fashion advertising. These days, although Michael's life has taken a much more contemplative turn, his schedule is just as hectic as usual, having spent the past one and a half years creating Journeys With the Messiah. 'Although Journeys is in its infancy, I plan for it to occupy much of the coming years. There are so many directions it can go.' He looks back on his life as an incredible journey - one full of lessons learned.

Chinese art is visual art that, whether ancient or modern, originated in or is practiced in China or by Chinese artists or performers. Early so-called "stone age art" dates back to 10,000 BC, mostly consisting of simple pottery and sculptures. This early period was followed by a series of art dynasties, most of which lasted several hundred years. The Chinese art in the Republic of China (Taiwan) and that of overseas Chinese can also be considered part of Chinese art where it is based in or draws on Chinese heritage and Chinese culture.

Only the finest archival paper and ink is used to ensure that this treasure will live as long as your love. Each certificate is a unique original, not a print or reproduction. Illustration and calligraphy are completely hand done from start to finish by calligrapher and artist Stewart Thomas. The certificate typically contains the names of the wedding couple, their vows or a prayer, and images that are special to them. The certificate can be displayed at the ceremony, or become a part of the ceremony itself. People of many traditions are now adapting the certificate to their own weddings. In ancient Jewish practice the marriage couple and the officiant sign the ketubah at the close of the ceremony. Muslim weddings customarily include an elaborately calligraphed marriage contract. The Quakers have everyone who attends the marriage sign the certificate. This is a lovely custom, keeping a permanent record of all who witnessed the ritual. Matted and framed, the certificate makes a beautiful and meaningful display in your home. In addition to the samples shown here, I have created countless certificates, many of which had to be rushed off to the ceremony before they could be photographed. I invite you to use your imagination and not be limited by the few samples shown here. I am open to creating certificates for ceremonies in any tradition -- my experience is broad and I will work with you to create a piece of art that embodies what is important to you. Certicates can be created in any language that uses Latin script (English, Spanish, French, etc.) or Arabic script (Persian, Urdu, Arabic, etc.). Under special circumstances I can work in other scripts as well--please contact me if you have questions. Palmstone Studio offers the work of  master calligrapher Stewart J. Thomas . Calligraphy commissions are accepted for designs in Arabic, Persian (Farsi), Sanskrit, English and an array of other languages and scripts. Specialties include calligraphy for body art, tattoos, memorials, publications, logos and jewelry. Marriage certificates are made to order using archival quality paper, inks and colors to insure a long-lasting family heirloom. All designs are unique and feature hand calligraphy, illustration and illumination. Stewart J. Thomas has been a professional calligrapher for over 30 years and his work has been featured in calligraphy exhibitions and publications worldwide. For over thirty years master calligrapher and artist Stewart Thomas has been creating custom designs for certificates. Resisting the trend towards digital creations, pre-made templates, and mass produced certificates that can be 'customized' to your specifications, Stewart creates only hand calligraphed, uniquely decorated and illustrated certificates. You will receive an original piece of artwork that no one else in the world will ever have, and at a price that brings custom work into a truly affordable range. A marriage certificate makes a wonderful gift. Certificates are also appropriate for anniversary celebrations, retirements, births and other occasions. Every certificate I have made has been a completely unique work of art reflecting the people who commissioned the piece. Please enjoy the samples shown on these pages, but recognize that the certificate you commission will be the unique product of your intentions and my imagination!

Though deLeiris sketched in her early years, her career in art began around 1978. After graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in zoology, she spent a summer as a research assistant at the 2000 acre Smithsonian National Zoo Conservation and Research Center in Virginia. While observing deer behavior, she did field sketches from the jeep, studying their forms and postures. She then stayed on at the center to illustrate the book, The Biology and Management of an Extinct Species, Pere David's Deer (B. Beck and C. Wemmer. ed., Noyes Pub., '83), and to do an animated introduction for the Zoo documentary The Last Chance (Skrentny/Ames Productions, '79). For this she spent hours in the marmoset enclosure sketching the little monkeys as one rode her arm and wrapped tiny fingers around her pencil. This six months living at the breeding center was a turning point in her life. Her interest in the workings of the natural world had expanded to include its visual interpretation. From then on, deLeiris illustrated several books and articles, including two Dover coloring books and posters for National Geographic Special Publications. She illustrated articles for magazines such as Smithsonian, National Geographic Traveler, Cruising World, Ocean Realm. She painted landscapes and seascapes wherever she traveled. Her continuing interest in science often finds its way into her art. She took three trips to Antarctica under the auspices of the National Science Foundation Artist and Writer's program. There she lived in science stations and field camps painting, sketching and illustrating. She illustrated three books: Natural History of the Antarctic Peninsula, (Moss, Columbia University Press '88,) Antarctic Journal, text by Meredith Hooper, (Frances Lincoln and National Geographic 2000,) and The Island that Moved by Meredith Hooper, (Viking, and Frances Lincoln, 2004.) As well as exhibiting in group shows, she prepared several solo exhibitions of paintings at museums and galleries including Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC, Harvard Museum of Natural History, Newport Art Museum in Newport, RI, National Science Foundation, Arlington, VA, and Happy White Gallery, Barrington, RI.  Paintings by Lucia deLeiris Fine Art  - > Oil and watercolor paintings of landscapes, wildlife and other subjects by artist Lucia deLeiris. Lucia deLeiris has painted landscapes along the coasts, and also abroad, particularly in Antarctica, the Arctic, Europe, and in the Amazon regions of South America. She has been awarded three grants by the National Science Foundation to paint in Antarctica under the auspices of the agency's 'Antarctic Writers and Artists Program'. Having lived a total of ten months in Antarctica at science stations and in a remote field camp on the sea ice, she illustrated several natural history books on the subject, and her paintings have been showcased in several exhibitions. Many paintings are available for sale on her website.

Heraldic artist :  Blazon creation and reproduction  of armorial bearings and coat of arms on paper (indian ink or fine oil colors and gold leaves) or real vellum (fine oil colors and gold leaves). Nowadays, the possession or interest in the coats of arms is, eonce the surprise is passed, often disregarded with a various rank of primary reactions linked to prejudice or mere ignorance. These few lines aim at putting an end to the several clichés and 'teaching' the inquiring minds. Coats of arms are not specific to nobility. Nowadays, every one is free to choose or adopt a coat of arms... either a noble or a common one. The only restriction is to avoid using those of someone else. And this is as valid for M. the count of Despot as for M. Berger, a common sheperd in the French Black Perigord. You don't judge a book after its cover and so, the particle isn't the proof of nobility, even if it looks like it, according to a widespread idea. Some families from high nobility don't have one. Other families coming from the working or the middle class have a lot. What is sure is that having a particle always looks very great and the effect is too. But beware of forgery as only one particled name out of three is authentically noble. Let's do a little exercice to illustrate this: Imagine that a decade before the French Revolution (July the 14th of 1789), there were three middle class brothers. They were equally honourable as their social positions were. The three of them were coming from an ancient family and were having a family tree and arms like most of their peers of that time. One day, the first brother buys a practice to be Royal Secretary. The second brother buys a noble 'de Monfief' land. The last brother stays with his parents.

This site features  original artwork and prints by inmates  including still life drawings, pastels, charcoals, acrylics and pencil drawings. Creativity cannot be imprisoned. In fact, the very act of locking the cell door often lights the creative fire of those within. This site is proof of that. I, Bobby K. Nash, am thirty-seven years old and reside at the Southeastern Tennessee State Regional Correctional Facility. I have had no formal training in art. Like most, I began drawing small designs on envelopes in county jail nearly seventeen years ago. A year later, while trying to adjust to prison life, I was fortunate enough to know I had to find some form of vocation to offset the financial disparity that comes with a lengthy prison sentence and find something that was personally rewarding; something I could excel at while contributing to the world around me. I only did portraits until about four years ago when I tried my hand at ?fine art.? I am continually reading books on how to improve my art and one of my latest paintings, Afternoon Meal, won a juried trial and, as a result, was displayed in the McGhee Tyson Airport. Two of my most recent paintings sold almost immediately after being viewed, Summer Stroll and Apples. Four of my paintings were accepted for display by the Upstream People Gallery and one of my paintings was chosen for the Top 40 Exhibition Show in Knoxville, Tennessee. My pastel painting, Trolley in the City, won first prize in the medium category at the Annual Tennessee Art League Juried Member?s Exhibition. The same painting was accepted into the Mountain Visions 2010 Regional Juried Exhibition. I am a member of the TAL Gallery in Nashville and the Knoxville Art & Culture Alliance.

There will always be artists whose work defies strict categories or definitions. Such is the case with painter David Lindamood, whose artwork combines elements of early cubism with expressionist tendencies and modern illustration. Artistic intuition is a strong force in Lindamood's work. His sweeping brushstrokes and lines generate a feeling of intense energy and life. To me it is important for each painting to have a personality, says Lindamood. I think a lot about painting, composition and color, but when it comes down to it, I mostly paint by instinct and what feels right as I go. Throughout his education Lindamood was involved in many aspects of printing and illustration, including a few comic strips. He traces his interest back to the time he had an illustration printed in the kindergarten newspaper. After graduating from college, Lindamood began to merge his illustration and cartoon background with the field of fine art. Beyond painting and printing, Lindamood is active in directing and acting in Shakespearean theater as well as writing prose, poetry and music. Showing: Lindamood will be showing his work in the group exhibition which runs through Sept. 8...The opening reception is Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. Additionally, Lindamood will be one of 10 artists involved in a cultural-exchange exhibition in Sendai, Japan, this fall that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the sister-city relations...For me, these are visual narratives, self-regulated scenes which express events or an awareness within a person's life. In most of my work I employ an inner-play of color, shapes and lines to come together in a way so that the entire painting evolves into an single movement of expression. Each application of line, color and shape presents a part of itself to the purpose of this overall moment. I draw on the concept that the smallest particles that we are made of work as one to create us in life as I know it.  Fine Art - There will always be artists whose work defies strict categories or definitions. Such is the case with painter David Lindamood, whose artwork combines elements of early cubism with expressionist tendencies and modern illustration.

findigart started off as a brand to represent my own artworks of digital art, but later naturally evolved into a vanguard art language and a new form of visual mass communication form. I chose to name this Applied Abstract Art. Anyhow, I?m still not really sure where this is all leading? A vintage studio,  findigart -Art & Design , creating and selling extremely poppy and colorful vanguard art as well as supplying graphic design services (print, web, UI). findigart is imaging ideas into visuals, mirroring thoughts into opinions, knifing consensus into self-center. Expressing awareness, reflecting truth, diagnosing reality. Message, Aspiration, Hope. fidigart as faith, as fear, as a way of life; a process, a tool; purposeful life and art. The shortage of artistic creation consciously throbbed within me from the young age and frustrated me deeply on more than one occasion, but art frightened me for it intensely illuminated the fear from not being: not being creative, not being wise, not being talented, not being sensitive, not being appreciated in the eyes of all those people who embodied what I conceived and defined for all my life to be mental virtues. My perception of art as something exalted and distant discouraged me from being an artist, and the fear to fail in my attempts blinded me and caused me to astray from my true self. Art is me at all those moments when I truly have something to say and I am an artist at all those moments when I allow myself to be true.
