This is a delicious little space of the internet that will be used to post about  life happenings . Real life ? The tough stuff and the exquisite stuff. Dissonance is a fair and mysterious waltz that finds its true illustrious beauty in harmonious resolution. It?s an interesting thought, is it not? Think for a moment upon a summer forest rich with life and complexity. There are mighty trees adorned from head to foot with decorative leaves, lush from the warmth of the sun and the nourishment of rain. And, in that same forest, there lying gracefully, or perhaps not so gracefully are those trees which have served and seen their illustrious days of life in days before yet now create a complexity of rubbish and leafless timber entwined in the life that surrounds them, seemingly lifeless and sad. But, alas, the very rubbish, lifeless and seemingly dormant, lies peacefully within its own process, only to find one day that its natural decay becomes the very nourishment feeding the beauty of those tress that stand as an emblem of a tree yet to mature or a tree which stands boldly, fully bloomed and adorned as it was meant to be. It is but one of the many ways nature teaches us about our own dissonances and harmonious resolutions. What if our own relationships with ourselves and others are in fact both the dramatic dissonance and resolute harmony which create the symphony of our lives? What if?

Gothic Goddess Media began an ARTIST ON ARTIST WEB COMMUNITY and DAILY. The site was for artists who wanted to be captured photographically and ?immortalized? by Gothic Goddess Media in some way, and expand their exposure or horizons. People who loved underground art, culture, (literature) & music. Off the beaten path, independent-minded, sophisticated, and above all OLD SCHOOL ! It was about the artists and THEIR influence (or potential influence). How did our art make everyone feel? How could we make ourselves heard? OR, how could we make ourselves heard more? How could we find ways of surviving the current economic crisis? The list went on and on? Gothic Goddess Media provided a sounding board for questions such as these as well as our own participation. The heart of Gothic Goddess Media was in the relationship between my writing and digital art/photography. Sometimes the photography fueled the written word, and at others the written word inspired the photography. One was not complete without the other! The power of the pair? Gothic Goddess Media is exclusively an Artist on Artist Web Community and Web Daily. As far as the digital art/photography, I was not interested in merely capturing a clean, traditional photo. My goal was to capture the essence of an artist and his/her/their work on the digital canvas. I approached my photography/digital art as a painter approaches his work - the camera's digital capture starts as an empty canvas open to experimentation and interpretation, not just another opportunity to point and shoot what's in front of me. It's a scary notion to some, difficult to explain, and not many understand what I did..My brand of photography here wasn't for everyone, and not every opportunity that came my way ended up for me. Podcasts, interviews, reviews, and other such editorial were also meant to get me and my fans closer to and better appreciate artists and their work. Since Gothic Goddess Media was conceived in 2007, the economic climate has changed, and I decided to close down the publication for good. I am going back to my roots. Digital art and photography.
